Duke Squeaks By Virginia

#6 Duke wins a close one against #17 Virginia 61 to 58. Duke goes to 14-2 and 2-0, Virginia goes to 14-2 and 1-1. Duke had the shooting 52% to 39% and Virginia had the rebounding 35 to 26, but the shooting won.

Mason Plumlee was the top scorer and rebounder for the Blue Devils with 12 points and 7 rebounds, Ryan Kelly also had 7 rebounds.

It was a close game the whole first half with the Cavaliers leading at the half 32 to 28. Duke was able to get a 9 point lead in the second half, but by the end of the game Virginia was able to put themselves in position to tie the game, they missed two shots at the end to give Duke the win.

Duke's next conference game will be against Clemson. Go Duke!
