Duke Over Georgia Tech 79 to 57

Nolan Smith takes scoring honors as Duke defeats Georgia Tech 79 to 57. Georgia Tech had the lead almost all of the first half, but you never had the feeling the Blue Devils were not going to win this game.

Duke started taking control with only two minutes left in the first half and never let up. Both Kyle Singler and Mason Plumlee played good defense as each had 9 rebounds.

Duke dominated GT in the shooting with 45% and rebounding with 38 rebounds. It's a good possibility the Blue Devils could move up in the rankings next week, possibly the number one spot. Duke's next game is Wed, Feb 23 against Temple in Durham, N.C. at 7:00 p.m.
